Benefits of Participation

Fully functional and interoperable Electronic Health Records (EHRs) can improve efficiency and quality in our health care system, which means lower costs, better outcomes, and healthier communities.

Benefits to Providers and Clinics

  • Save time, money and headaches associated with EHR assessment and implementation so you can focus on your patients.
  • Improve access to information at the point of patient care for better care coordination.
  • Qualify for financial incentives through the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program—up to $63,750 per EP over six years—and 2016 is the last year to initiate participation.
  • More easily generate clinical quality measures for multiple reporting requirements.
  • Assess and minimize security risks to your practice.

Benefits to Coordinated Care Organizations

  • In addition to improved efficiency and outcomes, our no-cost services can help CCOs meet the Oregon Health Authority’s EHR-based Incentive Measures by helping Medicaid providers capture Clinical Quality Measures (CQM) data in a format that can be submitted to OHA electronically.
  • CCOs with more meaningful EHR users are better positioned to meet EHR adoption benchmarks and other EHR-based measures from the Metrics and Scoring Committee in 2016 and 2017.
